National ERA Education Foundation, Inc
We are the National ERA Education Foundation, Inc. (a 501c3)
We are a nonprofit, nonpartisan, non-sexist, single-issue, all-religions, all-ethnicities grassroots organization, warmly welcoming to all who yearn for gender-equal treatment for everyone in America. We take our 18/7 work in several years of successful advocacy very seriously. We are all unpaid; we operate on small donations. We do what we do, not for ego, power, money nor status. We do it because we care and believe that what we do will lift Americans’ quality of life through improved relationships, fewer divorces, more stable communities and economic growth.
Our president and founder is Sandy Oestreich,
Former elected official,
Professor Emerita, Adelphi U., NY,
Member, Advisory Board, University of South Florida,

Our president is well-experienced as Change Agent and thus capable in her current role:
As university professor, facilitated the Nursing Department’s changed focus to a patient-oriented one.
With her Coalition, turned her city into one of only two in America to bring the city hospital in full compliance with the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution by bringing suit against the city.
Initiated and facilitated state legislation to require standards and licensing of non-nurse midwives.
Based on science, her organization was able to keep fluoridation of drinking water out of her county of residence.
As Vice Mayor, wrote and passed ordinances that keep “adult” facilities out of town, and to create a drug-free and sex harassment-free workplace.
We advocate for the Equal Rights Amendment by mobilizing the public, organizing and publicizing via online ERA newsletters; rallies; OpEds and Letters to the Editors nationwide; press conferences; speaking approximately once a week throughout the nation, southeastern USA, D.C. (spoke at U.S. capitol August 2012, and New York; and helping to mentor the 6 other ERA-active states. Our web site is www.2PassERA.org; Twitter at @SandyO; 3 Facebook pages, including tiny.cc/PassERA.
We have the will, the experience, the tools, and the supporters to advocate successfully for the Equal Rights Amendment. We hope that you will enjoin this noble challenge.
