Joan Beugen of Chicago, Illinois, is the Founder, President and Chief Creative Director of Cresta Creative. For 30+ years, she has produced corporate communication in all media including film, video, meetings, television, print and websites. She has literally hundreds of industry awards to her credit, but mostly values the on-going relationships with her clients, some of which have lasted for decades.
As a marketing consultant and specialist, Joan has worked with Fortune 500 corporations including Apple, Baxter Healthcare, Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Hines, HSBC, Intel, McDonald’s, Navistar, Quaker Oats, Sara Lee Company, Shell Oil, as well as with non-profits, start-ups and mid-size companies.
Previously, Beugen was the Founder and President of The Creative Establishment, Inc., a top national corporate presentation agency often featured in business magazines and on television shows such as the Today Show on NBC.
Beugen has been named YWCA Entrepreneur of the Year, New York NAWBO Entrepreneur of the Year, Chair of the Illinois Delegation - White House Conference on Small Business Committee of 200 and has received over 200 industry and festival awards for excellence.
She is a member of The Committee of 200, The Economic Club of Chicago, the Chicago Chapter of the International Women’s Forum (IWF), of which she will soon step down as its President to become Director-Elect of the IWF Board of Directors, The Chicago Network, Northwestern University Committee of 100 and various charitable organizations. She was past President of the National Association of Women Business Owners and was listed in Who's Who in America.
Beugen has a B.A. from Northwestern University, School of Speech with a Major in Theatre. She resides in Chicago and is married to Shel Beugen and has one daughter, Sara and two grandchildren.
