Several Olympic athletes participated, as did Mary O’Connor, president and CEO of the WMBA Dallas Wings.

Vision 2020 sets goal: 100% turnout of women voters in 2020

TV cameras rolled as Vision 2020 announced a monumental goal in its campaign for gender equality: 100% turnout of eligible women voters in the November 2020 national election.

The announcement capped a day-long strategy session involving leaders of two dozen national organizations allied with Vision 2020 in the effort to bring about political parity for women.

Four Florida power women lend expertise to Vision 2020 events

The decision to hold a Vision 2020 National Congress in 2018-19 gained a champion to start the planning process. And a recent convening of Vision 2020 and key Allies to increase the participation of women in politics gained an experienced facilitator.

Both commitments came out of a January 7 meeting in Florida. Vision 2020 Founder and President Lynn Yeakel met with two National Delegates, Sarah Owen and Samira Beckwith, Leadership Circle member Deborah Brittain and Speakers Bureau member Dawn-Marie Driscoll.

Women Changing the City include Vision 2020 supporters

Vision 2020 supporters were at the podium and on the dais at the recent “Women Changing the City” event presented by the Center City Proprietors Association at the Free Library of Philadelphia.

Billed as a panel discussion among women leaders about creating and inspiring change, the event was moderated by Susan Buehler, chief communications officer at PJM Interconnection and a member of the Vision 2020 communications team.
