Biography

Kirsten Rambo, of Atlanta, Georgia is the team lead for the Sexual Violence and Intimate Partner Violence Team at the CDC's Division of Violence Prevention. Previously, she served for five years as the Executive Director of the Georgia Commission on Family Violence. She has worked in issues related to women and violence since 1997 and has served on several nonprofit boards, including SPARK Reproductive Justice Now and the Women's Policy Group. Rambo has also been a visiting assistant professor at Emory University, and has taught undergraduate courses in Women's Studies, Violence Studies, Law and Writing.
