Beyond the Classroom Tour

Drexel is different because the experience you’ll gain as a student here is atypical. No matter your academic interests, out-of-the-classroom hands-on learning opportunities are abundant. With incubators for entrepreneurship, space for product design, and more, our students are encouraged to exercise their full potential.

Drexel’s Biodiversity, Earth, and Environmental Science (BEES) department believes in field experience early and often. Students support sustainable means through many opportunities, including harvesting bees right on campus with the Urban Growers and gardening for a farm-to-table class.

The Center unites design, technology, and entrepreneurship in many forms, but especially in the App Lab. Students learn the power of smartphone applications with the ability to create, design, and test them in a multidisciplinary environment.
