Dr. Patricia Shewokis, a professor in Drexel University's College of Nursing and Health Professions and School of Biomedical Engineering, Science, and Health Systems, describes a project aimed at designing a prosthetic arm that amputees can control directly with their brains and that will allow them to feel what they touch. The project is a collaboration between researchers at Drexel, Rice University, the University of Michigan, and the University of Maryland.
