Transfer Instant Decision Days

Submitting a college application doesn't have to mean weeks of waiting for a decision. Prospective transfer students can make an appointment to meet with an admissions counselor and receive an admission decision that day.

Upcoming Dates

Transfer Instant Decision Days appointments are available every Wednesday as well as on the first Friday and third Tuesday of each month. Please call 1.800.2.DREXEL for specific availability and to register.

Who Is Eligible

Transfer instant decision appointments are available for applicants interested in beginning classes at Drexel in the following term:

  • Winter 2017 (January 2017)
  • Spring 2017 (March/April 2017)
  • Fall 2017 (September 2017)

Appointments are open to full-time transfer students only interested in all programs except:

  • Custom-Designed Major
  • Nursing Accelerated Career Entry (ACE)
  • Westphal College of Media Arts & Design

Requirements Prior to Scheduling an Appointment

Online Application

You must have an active application on file for the term you are applying for before you register for an appointment. Please note that if you utilize The Common Application, it may take up to seven days after submitting the application for it to be active in the University's records.

What to Bring

Students who have completed fewer than 24 college credits and have graduated from high school no more than two years ago

  • Official high school transcript
  • SAT or ACT score results
  • Official college transcripts from all institutions attended

Students who have completed 24 or more college credits

  • Official college transcripts from all institutions attended

In order for you to meet with an admissions counselor and receive a decision, please note the following:

  • You must bring all official transcripts and test scores (including military transcripts if applicable). These must be official documents provided in a sealed envelope from each college or university (or high school, if applicable per above).
  • Letters of recommendation are welcome, though not required.

The University reserves the right to request additional information to aid in the proper review of your file; in such cases your transfer instant decision may be delayed.
