Financing Options for Transfer Students
Transfer students at Drexel are eligible for a variety of financial aid, including scholarships, loans, and grants. For more information, please see our financing options page. Transfer students are also eligible for merit-based scholarships.
In order to recognize outstanding academic achievement, transfer applications are automatically considered for Transfer Scholarships, which are merit-based scholarships offered to accepted and qualified students transferring to Drexel from two- and four-year colleges. Transfer Scholarships are awarded up to $18,000 and are renewable on a yearly basis. As a transfer student, you will be automatically considered for a Transfer Scholarship.
Additional Drexel non-need-based financial grants include:
- Dragon Alumni Scholarship – A $1,000 scholarship awarded annually to enrolling undergraduates who have been recommended by a Drexel alumnus/a or trustee.
- Drexel Legacy Scholarship – A $3,000 award offered to children and grandchildren of Drexel University alumni.
- Dragon Family Scholarship – A $3,000 award offered to each child from the same family enrolled full-time simultaneously.
- Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship – An annual $1,500 scholarship to full-time transfer students who are active members of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
For more information, including scholarship deadlines, see our Undergraduate Grants and Scholarships page.
Note: Nursing ACE, Radiologic Technology, and Invasive Cardiovascular Technology applicants are not eligible for Drexel scholarships and grants due to the unique format of the programs' curricula.
