Samantha Joseph, MPH

Doctoral Research Fellow

Samantha Joseph, MPH is currently a doctoral research fellow in the Department of Community Health and Prevention and is working on the West Philadelphia Promise Neighborhood project. For her dissertation, Ms. Joseph will be studying community trauma and violence as a result of adverse community experiences. This project will generate a preliminary index for community trauma based on secondary city-wide data, with input from vulnerable areas of Philadelphia with a history of high trauma exposure. Ms. Joseph completed her MPH at the Dornsife School of Public Health in 2012.
