Maggie Beverly, MPH

Project Manager


Maggie Beverly, MPH is a Project Manager at the UHC working on various projects with Drs. Amy Carroll-Scott and Felice Le-Scherban. She primarily works on the West Philadelphia Promise Neighborhood Data and Research Core, managing the organizational network survey, supervising student research assistants, and developing a resource directory for children and families in West Philadelphia. She is also the project manager for the Food Insecurity, Neighborhood Environment, and Weight Trajectory in Young Children project and the Evaluation of PHMC’s Cedar Campus. She also supports the UHC’s Community Engagement Core. She received her MPH concentrating in community health and prevention from Drexel’s Dornsife School of Public Health, and her bachelors degree in health science from Boston University. She previously worked as the Research Coordinator and a research assistant on the West Philadelphia Promise Neighborhood project at the UHC. She completed her MPH practical experiences partnering with a summer work ready program to develop and teach an introduction to public health curriculum for youth in West Philadelphia and piloting an evaluation of that work ready program.
