The Drexel InfoNET is a network of flat-screens strategically placed across campuses to rotate University-relevant advertisements — exclusively for student organizations, professional organizations and departments to announce programs, events, and initiatives. Originally spearheaded by the Undergraduate Student Government Association, the Office of University Communications now provides this service for free to all Drexel students and professional groups who seek to promote their ongoings.
To submit an advertisement for InfoNET display, users must electronically submit an ad file with the following specifications:
- JPG format only (not JPEG)
- 1360 x 564 pixels
- 72 ppi
- Do not submit an ad more than 3 weeks before the scheduled run time.
The Office of University Communications reviews InfoNET ads twice a week for quality, content and specifications. Ads can run for a maximum of two weeks prior to the event date. Multiple ads for one event are not permitted. For ongoing or yearlong events, ads must be submitted every two weeks.
Ads currently play for 10 seconds. For maximum impact, submit ads with minimal copy in order to communicate your message or event date effectively. All fields must be completed, and the submitted file must conform exactly to the listed standards in order to be displayed.
