Office of the Comptroller

Our mission is to ensure the stewardship and management of the University's finances through effective and efficient accounting processes. The Office of the Comptroller provides leadership and guidance in matters of financial accounting and payroll administration. The Office of the Comptroller assists in the development, maintenance and implementation of sound fiscal policies, accounting procedures with the goal of enhancing internal controls and continuous improvement of financial systems in conjunction with the other Finance related offices of the University.

The Office of the Comptroller oversees, directs and maintains the University's financial accounting systems and provides leadership for coordination and integration of the financial requirements with computerized applications for gift and endowment accounting, purchasing, student billing and human resources as well as the consolidation and financial oversight of the accounting systems, records and financial reports for the University. In addition, the Office of the Comptroller coordinates and manages the annual financial audits for the University and its subsidiaries, the Uniform Guidance Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards, census filings, and other required financial reports for the University.
