Campus Services and Procurement
Campus Services delivers high-quality services that are customer-responsive, are in close alignment with Drexel's academic mission and programs, and create dynamic campus destinations for the entire Drexel community. Campus Services is a diverse department offering a wide scope of services and programs, from housing 4,000 students to providing an award-winning dining program to managing the University's partnerships with Barnes & Noble, Coca-Cola and Aramark. Major areas of operation include University Housing, Campus Dining, Retail, Bookstores, DragonCard/Dragon Dollars, Event & Conference Services, Parking Services, Printing and Mailing Services, Vending and the Drexel Student Centers.
Procurement Services is responsible for campus-wide agreements, standard purchase requisitions and orders, P-Card services, vendor sourcing, consortium bidding, contracts, bid management and compliance and other purchasing services for Drexel University and Drexel University College of Medicine. The department builds collaborative relationships to provide efficient buying methods, training programs, customer service and support; maintains accountability for effective stewardship of all of purchasing practices; incorporates sustainable principles in day-to-day activities; develops strategic supplier business relationships and applies group purchasing practices to build cost effective contracts that leverage the institution's buying power; and through strategic partnerships, grow and expand opportunities for small businesses and diversity suppliers.
