May 4, 2021

Climate Year: Drexel University and the Academy of Natural Sciences

Since 2015, at the ratification of the Paris Agreement, Drexel's Office of Global Engagement has supported the University's participation in the United Nations Framework Convention for Climate Change (UNFCCC), which holds the annual global climate change conference called the Conference of Parties (COP).

In celebration of Drexel's Climate Year, the Office of Global Engagement is proud to announce its Global Climate Action Funding award.

Faculty and staff are eligible to apply for small seed grants (between $500-$2,500) to jump start or leverage new or existing climate-related research projects with a global collaborator, host a visiting scholar, or develop opportunities for students, among other high-impact global engagements.

Applications will be considered on a rolling basis.
