Dragons Against Hazing – The award-winning Dragons Against Hazing Initiative aims to create a hazing-free community of respect within Drexel and the surrounding community, marked by the positive engagement of students, faculty, staff and community members in the opportunities provided by the University, a greater sense of accountability and true care for the individual. The cornerstone event of this program is the annual kick off during week two of the fall term known as Hazing Prevention Awareness Week. Find out more here. Dragons After Dark – Fun programs hosted every weekend for students. Homecoming – A time for alumni to come back and celebrate their time at Drexel with current students. Greek Week – A week of athletic, creative and philanthropic competitions between Drexel's social fraternities and sororities that promotes the core values of friendship, brotherhood and sisterhood. Student Life Awards – Student Life and the Undergraduate Student Government Association collaborate to recognize and reward Drexel community members who have made significant contributions to Student Life at the University and in the surrounding community. Deserving students, faculty, or professional staff are nominated for a number of awards. Self-nominations are also accepted. Award recipients are honored at an awards banquet. University City 5K Run – Managed by Drexel University, Campus Engagement, and Drexel alumni; students and community members are encouraged to line the race route and help cheer on the runners each April. The event benefits the Nicholas P. Pipino Memorial Scholarship for Drexel University students.
