Making An Appointment
Counseling is an opportunity to speak with an objective professional to explore significant personal, psychological, and academic issues that may be interfering with your ability to be successful as a student at Drexel University. To schedule a counseling appointment, you may visit the Counseling Center in person, contact us by phone, or send us an e-mail.
- To make an appointment for services on the University City campus, you may visit Suite 201 of the Creese Student Center, call 215-895-1415, or email email@example.com.
- For an appointment on the Center City campus, visit Suite 315 of the Bellet Building, call 215-762-7625, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Before your first session you will be asked to complete brief intake information forms, so if it is possible please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled appointment time. In your first session, a counselor will speak with you about your specific concerns and work with you to determine the appropriate services to meet your needs, either at the Counseling Center or via off-campus resources.
Counseling sessions are generally scheduled on the hour and last for up to 50 minutes, though you may be able to make special arrangements with your counselor. Students who are currently on Co-Op may arrange for an evening appointment.
In cases of emergency, you may contact the Counseling Center in person or by phone at (215) 895-1415 to arrange for assistance. For after-hours emergencies, please contact the on-call counselor at (215) 416-3337.
