Winter Orientation is facilitated during a one-day Orientation session for domestic and international transfer studentsstarting classes in the winter term. Attendance at Orientation is mandatory. Please pre-register for Orientation as soon as possible.

Parents and Family Members
Parents and family members are encouraged to attend Orientation with your student. Information presented during Orientation will be applicable to both students and families.
Orientation may not be appropriate for children under the age of 18.
Travel, Lodging and Hotels
Please make travel plans as soon as possible. Visit the Travel & Hotels page for directions to Drexel University and special hotel rates.
Early Residence Hall Move-In
On-campus lodging is not provided for Winter Orientation. However, students with Winter Housing Assignments may move-in to their assigned residence hall early.
Please pre-register for Orientation in order to be eligible for early move-in. Students eligible for early move-in due to Winter Orientation will receive a confirmation of their early arrival from University Housing via their Drexel email address in mid-December.
Parking: Parking Garage (34th and Ludlow streets)
Unfortunately, free parking is no longer available for Orientation. Parking may be purchased by paying at the kiosk in the lobby of the parking garage after you park. Please review the current parking rates for more information.
Orientation runs from 9 a.m. through 3:30 p.m. on the University City Campus. Please plan to arrive on campus before 8:30 a.m. to check-in and get settled before sessions begin at 9 a.m.

The Office of International Students and Scholars Services (ISSS) will offer important information regarding compliance with University and federal regulations and the programs and services provided by ISSS.
Student veterans and their families are invited to join the Veterans Task Force and the Drexel Veterans Association for an opportunity to network with other student veterans and learn about the resources available to student veterans on campus.
