New Student Days
Monday, September 16 - Sunday, September 22, 2013
New Student Days (NSD) is designed for new, undergraduate students at Drexel University. NSD is the official University welcome for the 4,000+ newest members of the Drexel community. Events include Residence Hall Move-In, Evening Social Activities, College/School Welcome Events, Ceremonies, Cook Outs, and opportunities to Explore Philadelphia.
Registration is not required and events are open to all new students.
Family Involvement
While New Student Days (NSD) events are designed specifically for students, family members play a significant role in sending their student off to college. Parents and family members usually assist their student with move-in, take them out to lunch or dinner, and leave their student to attend NSD events on their own.
Families usually travel home after their student is settled or leave the following day. For a list of hotel discounts, please visit the Campus Philly website.
Please ensure that your student is moved-in and ready to participate in mandatory events by 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 19, 2013.
Residence Hall Move-In
Tuesday, September 17 – Thursday, September 19, 2013
- Students with Fall Housing Assignments may begin moving-in to the residence halls as early as Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 8 AM. Please refer to the following move-in schedule for more information.
- Please visit the University Housing website for specific move-in instructions.
- Sign up for a move-in time through your MyHousing account.

Commuter Connection Day

Commuter Connection Day connects students who commute to Drexel with the programs and services available to you to make sure you are connected to the Drexel University Community.
