Dragons After Dark


Dragons After Dark is a program series designed to promote healthy activities for students during late night and weekend hours. The student-based committee that oversees this event planning is led by Campus Engagement professional staff and funded through SAFAC. In addition, student organizations can sponsor their own late night programs and receive special Dragons After Dark grant funding to supplement their costs. Programs and activities are open to the entire Drexel community and highlight ongoing collaboration between Student Affairs, Recreational Athletics, the Campus Activities Board and Late Night Series.

    Join Late Night Series and CAB in welcoming student comedians to the Late Night Series stage  for this year’s Student Comedian Competition! Prepare for a night of hilarity provided by your fellow students as they compete for a spot as the opener and emcee of the 15th Annual Comedy Show with Retta on November 15.

    The winner is required to have a 15 minute typed routine ready to go to open the comedy show BEFORE performing in the student comedian competition. The winner must be available from 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15 to be the emcee of the Comedy Show. Best of luck!

    The winner is chosen based on judges’ opinions as well as audience enthusiasm for each performance, so come out and support your friends or simply enjoy the show! Applications to perform open  Nov. 3.
