8th Annual Commuter Car Show

The Commuter Car Show Planning Committee and the office of Commuter and Transfer Student Engagement (CTSE) will be hosting the 8th Annual Commuter Car Show. (Rain Date, May 29) Students will be showcasing their hottest or even dumpiest cars and motorcycles at the Race Street Lawn (between 33rd and 34th Streets on Race St.) from 10 AM – 2 PM. Students who wish to enter their vehicles in the categories below will need to do so by Monday, May 20th. The Car Show voting will take place on-campus and online. Brooke Goldstein is an author, filmmaker, and human rights attorney who will be coming to Drexel on May 22nd. The doors open at 5:00 pm with a meet-and-greet and hors d'oeuvres. We will then be playing Ms. Goldstein's award-winning documentary "The Making of a Martyr". After the documentary, she will speak to the attendees; when her presentation concludes there will be a question and answer session. The purpose of this conference is to help students who are interested in medicine with their application process. There will be a variety of sessions that include but are not limited to: health policy, Kaplan MCAT strategy, medical research, interview preparation, dual degree programs, and personal statement. Admission price is $15 for non-national AMSA members and $10 for national AMSA members; this will include breakfast and a hot lunch. Business casual attire is required.
