Drexel University Pagan Alliance invites you to join us for a Halloween ritual to honor our ancestors and beloved dead.
We're setting up a candlelit labyrinth in Drexel Park, with an altar for the dead in the middle. Anyone can come, walk the labyrinth and say a prayer for those who have departed, be they family members, friends, pets or personal heroes. You are welcome do as much as you'd like--if you are called to write a note or light incense or pour some drink in memory of your beloved dead, we'll have that ready and available. If you'd just like to walk the labyrinth and think nice thoughts about your beloved dead, that's wonderful, too.
We'll be there for two hours, but the nature of the event means you'll only be spending a few moments in the labyrinth itself, making it the perfect way to start your Halloween revels. People of all religions (or lack thereof) are welcome! And feel free to wear your Halloween costume.
