A doctoral degree is a valuable asset for individuals who wish to pursue or advance a career in school administration. A superintendent holding a doctoral degree earns, on average, nearly $24,000 more annually than a superintendent without this credential. Drexel University’s School of Education offers an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Management that prepares students to successfully address the challenges in today’s schools and organizations.
The part-time program is conveniently located in an executive-style blended format at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology. Students take a mix of online courses with classroom sessions held on Fridays and Saturdays three times per quarter. This allows working professionals to advance their education and immediately apply what they learn to their career.
Drexel offers a 10 percent tuition discount to members of the Pennsylvania Association of School Administrators (PASA). I encourage you to join PASA to take advantage of all the association has to offer, and to be eligible for this valuable tuition discount. Read membership information here.
