The Drexel Players a group of students that participate in all aspects of theatre performance and production including: acting, directing, design, costumes, lighting, sets, sound, publicity, and box office. Auditions occur in the spring and the beginning of each fall term for incoming students. Scholarships are available!
Drexel University Chorus and Chamber Singers
The University Chorus performs traditional concert choir literature, a cappella and with instrumental accompaniment. Singers come from every College on campus and new members are accepted every quarter. This auditioned, 65 voice group typically does one major on-campus program each term, with occasional service and off-campus concerts. Repertoire for the fall term will include a mixture of octavo works and sprituals, along with Ottorino Repighi's Laud to the Nativity.
The Chamber Singers is a select group of 18 singers, chosen by audition from the University Chorus.

Drexel University Gospel Choir
The Gospel Choir is an open group of 60-70 singers which performs contemporary gospel music with a back up band. No audition is required and all interested singers are encouraged to sing.
The Gospel Choir rehearses once a week, on Thursday evenings from 7:00-9:00 in 2032 MacAlister. The group performs frequently in churches throughout the Delaware Valley and usually does a weekend tour once each year.

Drexel University Dance Ensemble

Drexel Concert Band
The Concert Band is an ensemble of over 60 players, performing classic and contemporary band literature of the highest quality. Students refine their technique, develop ensemble skills, and focus on performing at an expert level of insight and interpretation. Student leadership is actively encouraged, on every level from behind the scenes logistics to conducting in performance. The band program also provides opportunities for chamber music performance. Scholarship auditions are generally held during Accepted Student’s Weekends in March and April, but may be scheduled at any time.

Drexel Pep Band
The Pep Band is composed of members of the Concert Band. The Drexel Pep Band performs at the home games of Drexel Men's and Women's Basketball teams and also travels to post season tournament games. We are an integral part of the Spirit Team which includes the Drexel Cheerleaders and the Dance Team.
Audition requirements for both of the above ensembles:
The audition requirements of these ensembles consist of Sight reading, scales, and exemplifying a willingness to work well within the group and enjoy music. Scholarships are available for both Concert and Pep Band.
