Welcome to Towers Hall!
My name is Joe Peltzer, and I am the Resident Director of Towers Hall. I work year-round with the Resident Assistants and Residential Desk Coordinators, a talented group of Drexel students and professionals, to ensure that your time as a resident of Towers Hall is an exciting, engaging, and safe experience.
As one of the first-year residence halls on campus, it is my goal to work with the staff of the hall to provide opportunities for you to get to know others within the hall, become comfortable here at Drexel University, and to explore all of the great things that Philadelphia has to offer. Past initiatives organized with Towers residents have included trips to the zoo, Phillies game outings, hall BBQs, and an annual hall-wide Thanksgiving dinner, among others. As one of the first halls that Drexel students get to see when initially stepping on campus (for tours and orientation), the energy of the community from day one of move-in will be electric and exciting… we hope you will be a part of that excitement!
This year, Towers Hall will serve as the home of tripled rooms on campus, a fact that not only makes our hall community unique, but one that translates into a greater number of opportunities to meet students you may not have originally had the opportunity to interact with!
As we navigate through the first few weeks and beyond, please be sure to reach out to some of the awesome staff members to find out how you can become more involved in the hall. We will soon be seeking residents to participate in Hall Council, a leadership group focused on working to provide educational and fun opportunities for residents of the hall to engage with one another. This one-of-a-kind leadership opportunity is a year-round experience that will not only introduce you to other leaders within the hall, but will equip you with skills and abilities that will contribute to your future successes at Drexel and beyond.
Alternatively, if you have work-study funds and are interested in working with Danielle and Leticia at the Towers front desk, contact Danielle (email@example.com).
While I will see many of your faces throughout the year, I look forward to meeting each of you individually! My office is located on the first floor of Towers Hall, right past the turnstile, so please do not hesitate to say hello!
Again, welcome to Towers Hall and the start of great things to come!
