    LGBTQA Student Center trains students to be allies to the LGBTQA campus community. This training includes two parts:

    Part 1: LGBT 101
    This session is geared toward students to provide a basic introduction to issues relevant to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQ) people. This training focuses on developing competence in basic terminology and language. Participants will be eligible to obtain CEO LEAD credit by participating in this training. The session's approximate duration is 60 minutes

    This day-long event will offer a multiplicity of perspectives on the figure of the zombie, which has become such a lynchpin of today’s pop cultural experience. We’ll be looking at the zombie in relation to film and video games, Jewish studies,  history and literature and the health sciences, among other fields. Students, faculty and professional staff in the Philadelphia area are welcome to attend talks and participate in Q&A sessions, networking with people in a variety of fields, and thinking about how pop culture is in dialogue with a range of other disciplines.
