Outreach and Support

A student working with a child at Drexel's STEM CampDrexel University’s School of Education is committed to strengthening relationships that contribute to our communities. One initiative that aims to accomplish that is the University-Assisted Schools program. Through this program, Drexel works with two West Philadelphia schools (Samuel S. Powel Elementary in Powelton Village and Morton McMichael Elementary in Mantua) to enrich classroom education and strengthen public school options for neighborhood families.

This is just one example of the School of Education’s community outreach efforts. The School works in many ways with community partners, and fosters relationships locally and globally with resources such as The Math Forum.

Our programs engage students and faculty members while fostering collaborative learning.

For more than twenty years, the Math Forum has served as a leading center for mathematics and mathematics education on the Internet.
