Ph.D. in Educational Leadership Development and Learning Technologies

The Ph.D. in Educational Leadership Development and Learning Technologies is a rigorous program designed to prepare students for careers as educational researchers, scholars, and teachers and involves intensive coursework in education and educational research.

The doctoral program is open to applicants who have demonstrated intellectual capacity and critical thinking skills as well as who exhibit a high potential for research and scholarship.

This highly competitive program is small by design, admitting approximately 6-10 students per cohort, the majority of whom are full-time.  Full time students have the opportunity to apply for research or teaching assistantships that provide a generous stipend, tuition remission, and a health insurance subsidy.

The major emphasis of the program is on engaging individual students in collaborative inquiry and research with faculty experts. Specific areas of concentration for doctoral students include Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Education and Educational Leadership.
