Undergraduate Co-op Appeal Procedure
You can appeal for an exception to Steinbright Career Development Center policies if there are extenuating circumstances.
Appeals should be discussed with your co-op coordinator prior to submission. The appeal should be submitted directly to your coordinator who will determine if the appeal merits review by the Appeals Committee.
Appeals should be a one page formal letter including:
- Student ID Number
- Current Co-op Cycle
- The policy you are appealing
- An explanation of the circumstances sufficient to warrant an exception to Steinbright policies
You should include supporting documentation, such as plan of study, letter of support from academic departments or supervisor, etc., as applicable.
The Appeals Committee meets bi-weekly to review completed appeals and make decisions accordingly. You will be notified via email of appeal decisions.
