Trollhättan is a city of approximately 47,000 inhabitants north of Sweden’s second largest city, Gothenburg. Trollhättan is known for its beautiful waterfalls and locks which tame the Göta River. Taming this river brought hydropower to industry, and many regard Trollhättan as the birthplace of modern Swedish industry. The landscape surrounding Trollhättan is ideal for biking, walks and hikes.
Steinbright and the University West (UW) of Trollhattan, Sweden have entered into a partnership whereby Drexel will send students to Sweden to be placed by UW in co-op positions, based on their qualifications and interests.
