The University Research Computing Facility is a resource for high-performance and high-throughput scientific computing for use by Drexel researchers. Housed in the 3rd floor of Curtis Hall, this 1,600 sq. ft., 0.6 MW facility hosts rack-mounted computing and storage hardware exclusive to individual research groups and is home to Proteus, the shared computing cluster, running at a peak speed of 25 TFLOPS and providing 9.5 TB of RAM. The facility is part of the Internet 2 Innovation Platform, featuring 100 gigabit ethernet and a Science DMZ.
