Research Administration Advisory Committee

The Research Administration Advisory Committee (RAAC) was formed to encourage the free exchange of information, experiences and ideas related to research administration activities at Drexel University. Research Administration representatives from Drexel's academic and central business units were asked to meet as a committee for the collaborative exchange of ideas leading to best practices for improved administration functions and increased opportunities for the University's research community. The first meeting was held in January 2015.

The RAAC is charged with fostering and supporting collaborative and productive relationships among Drexel’s central administrative and academic units to strengthen the University's research administration infrastructure. The goal of the RAAC is to identify administrative challenges facing Drexel researchers and research administrators and recommend creative solutions that will ultimately enhance and support Drexel's growing research enterprise.

Check the RAAC SharePoint site for the meeting presentations, minutes, resources and discussion. You will need to use your Drexel SSO to access the site.

To learn more about RAAC, please contact the co-chairs, Muheebat Akinola, Grants Manager, A.J. Drexel Autism Institute or Victoria Egan, Director of Research Administration, Dornsife School of Public Health.
