Welcome to Drexel University’s Safety Training site. EH&S manages and tracks safety training using a platform called BioRAFT. The platform provides online safety training to the following university units:

• Research
• Academic
• Clinical
• College of Nursing and Health Professions

The online safety training is required for all individuals working or learning in university laboratories and clinical/medical operations. The training platform can be accessed by going to drexel.bioraft.com. You can log into the system using your Drexel credentials. The course directory can be accessed under the Training link on the left navigation bar. You can launch any course from this directory. At the end of each course you will need to complete a short quiz. The system will provide a certificate for each course.

The training must be completed annually. The BioRAFT platform allows the trainee to complete the training at any time prior to the training expiration date. The platform will record the new annually training date upon completion. In addition, the platform sends warning messages one month, two weeks, and three days prior to expiration.

Department Heads can review the training status for the entire department including the academic courses by clicking on the Training Dashboard link at the top of the page in the BioRAFT platform.
