Sidney Kimmel Consortium Cancer Center at Jefferson
2014 Retreat and Poster Symposium

On behalf of Dr. Richard Pestell, Dr. Kenny Simansky, Dr. George Prendergast and the Sidney Kimmel Consortium Cancer Center (Thomas Jefferson University, Drexel University and the Lankenau Institute for Medical Research), we are pleased to invite you to present a poster on your cancer research at a Symposium on October 1, 2014, in the Bluemle Life Sciences Building at Jefferson, beginning at 8:00 AM. A draft agenda is available online.

A key aspect of this consortium-wide event is the presentation of posters by postdocs, fellows, and graduate students (DU and DUCOM) in cancer research, and we encourage you to attend this consortium-wide event and present a poster on your cancer research.

We ask that you fill in the abstract form for your poster. The deadline for the abstract submission is Wednesday, September 3, 2014. The form can be accessed online.

To help us manage the event, we also request that if you plan to attend the Symposium you register for the event online.

Even though some of the requested information appears on both the Registration Form and the Abstract Form, we request that you and your co-authors fill out both forms, since the Abstract Form would not indicate how many of the co-authors will be attending. And certainly all co-authors are invited to participate in the presentation of the poster.

The poster should be in a 40” high X 48” wide format with either the Drexel University approved logo for your school/college or the consortium template (download).

This event represents the first consortium-wide presentation of research of trainees in cancer research across the consortium, and your participation will help ensure the success of the symposium.

We look forward to your participation and seeing your poster at the symposium.
