The Center for Integrated Nutrition & Performance (CINP) staff offers a wide variety of workshops throughout the academic year providing, evidenced-based nutritional advice, available to the entire Drexel community. Our workshops are designed to meet general health needs or may be designed to meet the specific needs of your group or organization.

Nutrition Tips
- Consume lower calorie beverages like water and unsweetened tea to save Calories.
- Athletes and people who are strenuous exercisers need to consume high carbohydrate food within 2 hours post-work-out.
- Follow MyPlate.gov guidelines to improve your nutrition.
- Healthy snacking is great to help maintain or lose weight.
- Add oranges, lemons, pineapples or mixed berries to a pitcher of water in your fridge for a nice change!
- Make half of your plate whole grains (e.g., brown rice for white rice; whole grain bread for white bread).
- When eating out, ask for healthier options. For example, salad dressing on the side, no heavy sauces, smaller portions.
- Chocolate milk is a great post-exercise beverage.
- Great choices for lean proteins include: salmon, tuna, tofu, lean beef, pork, garbanzo beans, peanut butter, low-fat milk.
- Olive oil provides a healthier choice than butter for your bread. But still use it sparingly.
