Employee Olympics


A Healthier U, Human Resources and Recreational Athletics will host the Employee Olympics VIII on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, from 2 p.m. to approximately 5 p.m. Full-time faculty and staff can compete for Drexel University glory in eight (8) different sports. Gold medals will be awarded to the winning teams and "Torch Bearer" awards will be given to individuals displaying teamwork, sportsmanship and enthusiasm!

Teams will report to the Drexel Recreation Center for t-shirt pick up at 1:30 p.m.

The deadline to sign-up is Wednesday, June 14, 2017. You can sign up as a part of a team or as a Free Agent and we will place you on a team.

Don't want to compete in one of the above sports? Join us for a Fun Walk from 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. to enjoy the beautiful weather and stay fit and healthy! The walk leaves from the Drexel Recreation Center lobby at the Information Desk (33rd Street entrance). Registration is required for the Fun Walk.

Please note: All sports start at 2 p.m. All sports will overlap in time, so please only sign up for one event per person. Teams will not be eligible to participate if the minimum number of players is not met at game time. Event times are subject to change. Eligibility

All participants must be full-time faculty or staff of Drexel University, Drexel University College of Medicine, or Academy of Natural Sciences at the time of participation. Student employees are not eligible to participate.
