Our Student Employment Process
Recreational Athletics recruits for the majority of our student employment positions one term ahead. We host Rec Information Sessions to introduce prospective student employees to our culture and job opportunities. Our job applications are open online through Dragon Link during a set timeline each term.

Rec Information Session
To be considered for a position with the Drexel Recreation Center beginning Fall Term 2017 students are strongly encouraged to attend our upcoming information session. The Rec Information Session provides an opportunity to learn more about our department, positions available, and the application process. Our upcoming Rec Information Session is scheduled for:
Session One: Tuesday, July 25th
All sessions are held in the DAC Media Room from 6:00pm-7:00pm. Students are encouraged to dress business casual and expect to meet prospective employers. Attendance at an Information Session is strongly recommended, however not required to apply and be considered for a position.
Our Hiring Timeline
Fall 2017 Consideration: Online applications for Fall Term employment will be open July 31st through August 11th 2017. During the application period, the link to our application on this website will show all job applications available. Following the online application process, student applicants will be contacted if selected for an interview and notified of their application status before the end of the term.
Students Not on Campus and Incoming Fall 2017 Freshmen: If you are interested in working for Rec Athletics during Fall term but are not on campus during the summer, we encourage you to still apply. If not on campus and selected for an interview, our hiring supervisors are able to accommodate with phone or skype interview opportunities. You must be an eligible, enrolled Drexel student come Fall term to be employed with our department.
Our Specialized Positions include Group Exercise Instructor and Personal Trainer. These positions are not included on our Student Staff Hiring Application and both student and non-student applicants are considered. Candidates with qualifying experience and certifications are encouraged to submit a statement of interest with resume to the hiring managers listed below:
