Free In-Person Treatment Program for Social Anxiety

Drexel University offers a free treatment program for adults (ages 18-65) suffering from social anxiety disorder. This program is part of a study examining the efficacy of a cognitive behavioral treatment for social anxiety. Treatment will take place at our office in Center City, Philadelphia.

This cognitive-behavioral treatment consists of 12 weekly hour-long sessions with a therapist. You will be taught techniques to help cope with anxious thoughts and feelings. You will also have the opportunity to practice these techniques and improve your social skills. No medication is involved.

If you are an adult who experiences social anxiety and you live in the greater Philadelphia area, please contact us to learn if you are eligible for our free treatment program.

Please call us at (215) 571-4257 or email us at social.anxiety@drexel.edu. In your message, please mention you are interested in our in-person social anxiety treatment program.
