The Department of Psychology is looking for a work-study student to fill an exciting position in its front office. Front desk positions help build connections internally (within the department) and externally (with the Drexel community). Students will greet visitors and assist faculty and staff with routine tasks including filing, faxing, scanning, data entry, mail sorting, phones and interoffice delivery. The College of Arts and Sciences is looking for a student writer for the College’s Marketing Department. Projects will include writing compelling content for the College’s annual magazine, crafting news stories for the website and social media sites, and other tasks as assigned. The Department of Physics is seeking a work-study student who is detail-oriented, organized, dependable and outgoing to serve as a receptionist/office assistant. Duties will include greeting visitors, answering phones, sorting mail, photocopying, mailings, light typing, running on-campus errands and other duties as assigned. Applicants must have basic computer skills, be customer-service oriented, and have good communication skills.
