Zamzow, Schultheis, and Kloss Awarded Grant by National Multiple Sclerosis Society

August 20, 2014 — Maria T. Schultheis, Jacqueline D. Kloss, and Jessica Zamzow were awarded a pilot grant by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for $40,154. The grant will, in part, fund Jessica's dissertation on sleep and cognitive function in Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Jessica is a fourth year doctoral candidate in the clinical psychology program. The proposed work will examine the relationship between sleep and cognitive performance among individuals with relapsing-remitting MS. The findings of the proposed study has implications for improving cognitive rehabilitation in this population.
