Stephanie Manasse Receives Double Honors

December 11, 2013 — Stephanie Manasse, doctoral student in clinical psychology received a $1500 Psi Chi Graduate Research Grant to support her thesis project, "An Investigation of the Neurocognitive Profile of Binge Eating Disorder." This mechanism provides up to $1,500 funding to support independent projects for graduate students in psychology or psychology-related fields.

Stephanie Manasse was named Meritorious Student winner by the Society of Behavioral Medicine in recognition of her poster submission (Weight status and outcome in behavioral weight loss interventions: What can cognitive neuroscience tell us that the client cannot?). The poster was chosen by SBM reviewers and Program Committee as an excellent student authored submission, and will be recognized as a Meritorious Student Abstract. As a Meritorious Student winner, an enlarged version of the abstract will be posted for viewing at the SBM conference in April.
