with those of similar universities, which implies some
variation from one field of specialization to another.
Salary adjustments are not made on an across-the-board
basis, but rather on the basis of individual merit.
Attention is given to the AAUP scale and recommendation
in determining Drexel's adjustments in scale from year
to year. Final adjustments must be approved by the board
of trustees upon the recommendation of the president.
