PURPOSE AND APPLICATION

In an effort to better integrate academic coursework with a student’s cooperative education experience, undergraduate students enrolled in a Co-op education program may register for up to six (6) credits during each term for which they secured co-op employment; of the six, four (4) may be taken without additional charge.

STATEMENT OF POLICY

A full-time undergraduate student who has secured co-op employment during a cooperative education term is permitted to register for a maximum of six (6) credits of coursework. Up to four (4) undergraduate credits of coursework may be taken without tuition charge. If more than (4) credits are taken while on co-op, the additional credit(s) is/are billed on a per-credit basis. If a student wishes to take more than 6 credits during a co-op work term, the student must receive prior approval from the Steinbright Appeals Committee.

Registration is subject to course availability within established enrollment limits. Closed Section Overrides will not be granted, no new course sections will be added, and students may not wait list for a closed section. Students should not register for classes that are offered during a time that would conflict with their co-op employment requirements.

Registration for courses during co-op begins Week 9 of the term prior to term of enrollment through a time ticket in DrexelOne.
