The Provost is the chief academic officer of the University and has responsibility for all of the University's academic functions. The Office oversees all academic programs of study as well as supporting academic and administrative offices.
Senior Vice Provost for Academic Affairs
The Office of Academic Affairs is committed to creating a challenging and diverse environment for the more than 19,800 undergraduate and graduate students who attend Drexel as well as providing strong academic support to our more than 1,000 faculty.
Senior Vice Provost for Budget, Planning, & Administration
The Office of the Vice Provost for Budget, Planning, and Administration (VPBPA) is responsible for oversight of the Academic budgeting process and works closely with the Colleges to plan for faculty and staff hiring, special academic and research initiatives and the preparation of College budgets annually.

This bold statement reflects not only the accomplishments of our faculty and leadership during the recent past, but more importantly, their collective vision going forward.
About the Provost
Dr. Greenberg has been part of the Drexel community for 29 years. He has administered honors programs and the Pennoni Honors College for 13 years. He has led the development and implementation of innovative interdisciplinary academic programs, including building the Honors community in quality and size, and introducing the Drexel Cultural Passport, Visiting Scholars, the Great Works Symposia, and the University Writing Program. He established the Center for Civic Engagement and the Study Abroad program, while he provides academic oversight for the Co-op 101 course.
