Belén Maya, considered one of the most important Flamenco artists in the world, will perform for the first time in Philadelphia with her one-woman show, “Romnia”. This transfixing work is a celebration of “gypsyness,” with a sometimes compassionate, sometimes joyful look at the plight of women who have the courage to survive and endure.
