About Me

Tetyana is a graduating senior at Drexel University, where she majors in International Area Studies with a concentration in Justice and Human Rights.Tetyana has worked both in the nonprofit and public sectors, with development and interpretation respectively. She was awarded the Thomas Pickering Undergraduate Foreign Service Fellowship in 2011, which will enable her to pursue a career with the US Department of State as a Foreign Service Officer (FSO). 

In the meantime, Tetyana works with Ambassador Adrian Basora on the Project on Democratic Transitions at the Foreign Policy Research Institute. Before pursuing a masters degree, Tetyana will work with the Office of Russian Affairs at the Department of State. Then, Tetyana will pursue an MA in International Relations, with concentrations in International Economics and Russian and Eurasian Studies, at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. She will spend her first year of study at the Bologna, Italy campus. Tetyana currently speaks Russian, Ukrainian, and Spanish, and hopes to learn many more languages as she travels the world as an FSO.
