Center for Scholar Development
The Center for Scholar Development draws expertise and programming from across the university to help motivated students gain focus and direction in their studies and their lives. It offers an array of activities, workshops, advising, and other opportunities to help students make the most of their Drexel experience and prepare for future career opportunities, graduate school, and/or competitive awards.
Located within the Pennoni Honors College, Center for Scholar Development coordinates three programs: Pennoni Aspire, Aspire Scholars, and the Drexel Fellowships Office.
Pennoni Aspire is a new initiative designed to empower students to make informed choices about their academic, personal, and professional paths. We work with partners across the university to offer workshops, resources, and drop-in advising designed to facilitate greater achievement throughout your time at Drexel and beyond.
Year-long program designed to provide promising, curious, and motivated Drexel undergraduates an opportunity to further develop and clarify their goals, within a small community of peers and with guidance from alumni in their field(s) of interest. In partnership with Drexel Alumni Relations, we connect Scholars with Drexel alumni and facilitate the creation of strong alumni-student mentoring relationships.
Through small group meetings and individual advising, Scholars gain the tools and opportunities to clarify professional goals, engage more deeply on and off campus, and build deeper personal and professional relationships.
Drexel Fellowships Office
The Drexel Fellowships Office supports students across the University in their applications for competitive, merit-based national and international fellowships. We raise campus-wide awareness of opportunities and directly help students create strong applications through intensive individual advising and support.
