Nerd Night @ Drexel U - Fall Term

Wednesday, October 18, 2017

7:00 PM-9:00 PM

Nerd Night @ Drexel U is a quarterly event co-sponsored by the Office of Undergraduate Research and the Undergraduate Research Leaders. Individuals from all disciplines are invited to give short talks on their research or another interesting topic with which they are involved. Talks are between 10 and 20 minutes and are presented in a format that can be understood by a general audience without any background knowledge on the subject.

Our presentations for this term include:
  • Jacob Baron (Computer & Electrical Engineering, '20): "Game On: Enhancing Your Computer with a GPU"
  • Kevin Seivers (Geoscience, '21): "One year out of 4.6 billion: perspectives from an early career researcher in paleontology"
  • Alaina Barca (General Business, '20): "Get Divorced for the Kids: Does the FAFSA incentivize divorce for parents of college-bound children?"
