First-Generation College Conversations

Wednesday, January 25, 2017

3:00 PM-5:00 PM

Will you be the first in your family to graduate college? Join members of the Drexel community to discuss your experience as a first-generation college student on campus.

The Center for Learning and Academic Success Services (CLASS) and Center for Scholar Development are hosting a series of conversations between students and faculty who are first-generation college students. This open dialogue is a chance for you as students to discuss common experiences and learn about the successes of faculty who were in your shoes.

These conversations will also serve as an interest meeting for students who would like to be part of a group for first-generation students on campus. Drexel University defines first-generation college students as students with parents who do not have a four-year degree.

Please RSVP for one of the conversations below:

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at learningcenter@drexel.edu.

We hope to see you at one of the conversations!
