In addition to new Honors Colloquia each term, the Honors Program organizes social and cultural activities, events, dinners, and trips throughout the year. Honors students may sign-up for the special events and ticketed performances in the main Honors Office located in suite 5016 MacAlister Hall.
Events are announced in the weekly Honors Newsletter, emailed to all Honors students, andare free but may require a $20 cash deposit at sign-up which is refunded after attendance to the event.
Honors events and tickets are only open Honors students.
Honors Program Newsletter
The Honors Program would like to hear about upcoming events in your department or organization. Please note that all articles to be considered for publication in the standard Tuesday evening edition of the Honors Program Newsletter must be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 1 p.m. on Tuesdays. Submissions received after this point will be held for a future edition.
Please include all details relevant to your announcement (e.g., event location, date/time, contact person or office, available website information, etc.), and limit submission summaries to a maximum of no more than five sentences. Email attachments such as flyers, graphics, or posters will not be distributed with the Honors Program Newsletter.
It is the responsibility of the submitter to ensure the accuracy of the submission. Please keep in mind that missing information will result in distribution delays. For additional information, contact email@example.com.
