Apply to join the Student Global Advisory Board!
Goal: The goal is to engage students in implementing the strategic initiative of enhancing Drexel’s global impact, to gain student perspectives as we build and strengthen international experiences on and off campus, and to create leadership opportunities in global citizenship for Drexel students.
Participants: The SGAB is composed of 20+ outstanding undergraduate and graduate students, domestic and international from across the university.
Requirements: Each SGAB member must participate actively in the work of the Board, including participation in meetings and attendance at OIP and S-GAB sponsored events. It is expected that S-GAB members solicit ideas from fellow students in their departments and colleges/schools and encourage them to participate in relevant international opportunities and programs on and off campus.
S-GAB members will initiate and implement programming with the administrative support of the Office of International Programs (Program Manager, Sandra Petri, LeBow '16).
Outcome: The SGAB will give students a role in advancing Global Drexel, help to create a vibrant international conversation on campus, and promote innovative programming and opportunities for greater global engagement among members of our student body as well as to enhance opportunities abroad.
